Yeah, it's packed first thing in the morning. You can get turned away which is shitty, especially when by 11:30-12pm it's so quiet peeps can get in 5-7 runs in not long at all.

I'm intending to go too. Will keep an eye out to see how you go. Hope you make your 10.4

I'm guessing WSID's FAQ are out of date???

Street cars slower than 11.00-seconds no roll bar required.
Street cars (manufactured 1/2008 and later) slower than 10.00-seconds no roll bar required.
Street cars slower than 11.00-seconds and fitted with 4-wheel disc brakes and airbags no roll bar required.
Open street cars (convertibles) slower than 12.99-seconds no roll bar required.

I've sent them an email but ???

I think since going from andra to ihra the policing on this has gone soft . Ive run multiple 10's in it now includung at a private day where its hard to escape and haven't been bothered by anyone. I have a mate with a turbo ls1 lx torrie was there yesterday I reckon probably run about 20 10sec passes and never had an issue.

Very out of date, we ran a convertible Jaaag one Wed night did 11.7, was a "no worries mate" and that was when it was still an ANDRA track.

    Yeah that's old old rules.

Only bit not heard about is cut cars with firewall/trans tunnel or tubs able to go 10.5-11.0 no cage
an easy fix is get a mate to drive in front of you at 60 then 80 then 100 and mark in on your speedo with some liquid paper.

There is such a big power difference from an LS1 to an LS2. You have 295rwkw with Nos, less than an LS2 with a cam, exhaust and tune. But looks like you don't need a huge amount of power in the lighter VL chassis.
    NA8B 89 KW's- P.I. 1:50.1, WNTN1:38.0, SDWN 1:27.6, WKFLD 1:10.4
    NB8B 181 KW's- P.I 1:43.8, WNTN 1:32.9, SDWN 1:22.0, BDFD 1:05.3
    VP- P.I 1:46.2 damp track

Came in at 1350kg on the bridge in the pit shed . Just uses the power well and don't have to worry about spooling and lag.
