    1fz-fe options.

Ive got a 94 80 series and want to get a bit more power and tourqe out of the old girl.
It actualy runs pretty well and isnt to slugish but im going to be towing a small van plus i just want more power.
    Its done about 350,000 k.
Im looking at turbo or a sprintex supercharger.
I read an old thread on thubo charged 1fz-fe here a while back but im unsure on wether i need to do a partial rebuild ect.
Any thoughts on witch way to go and what i should do with the motor first apreciated.
The sprintex kits 5k plus 80o for an ecu.
    Cheers Dale

If you're on the book of faces, there's a group called 1FZ-FE turbo land cruisers, many many informations. Read the pinned post. My understanding is that being a 94 you'll need an aftermarket ecu and if it's auto, then you'll be wanting something that will piggy-back as the factory ecu controls shifting duties of the auto. If you're only going to be towing a small van and want a bit more poke, then 8-10psi should be plenty and not require a rebuild but it wouldn't hurt to add an MLS head gasket and run a set of 2jz arp head studs.
