    VH Barradore

Started as a bit of a joke but here we are

Mint VH commodore fitted with BF typhoon motor using tuff mounts. Fits really well. Dump is going to be a bit of an issue but thinking I might make twin 2 1/4 pipes around the steering shaft

"Billet" C4, Torque Power bellhousing and TCE 2800 converter, shortened BW diff

Gtx3582r Supercore (due tomorrow), 1150cc Bosch Injectors, FG intake manifold, twin 044's, fpr1200 reg, Haltech 2500, plasmaman cooler

Waiting for tailshaft to come back and Haltech loom to be done

Finishing off wiring and trans cooler/lines at the moment

is there any benefit to a forward facing plenum in these or is stock one good enough for most applications?

    Good work and nice car.

I thought about using one in a VR but I bought a BA and just drive it around as the VR sits and wastes away. I also thought about SR20 latest idea that I wont do is a vitara 2.0 V6 turbo in the VR.

Bonnet clearance would be a good reason to go to forward facing. I had to remove the BF to FG throttle body adapter and have dropped the K frame 8mm and it all still touches. I'm trying to justify a tunnel vision manifold

As far as flow/performance is concerned the FG one has moved many 2 tonne cars to high 130mph in the 1/4

Atomic also recommend the FG manifold.

I haven't got enough money to register or put tyres on my car.

I envy how you pull these things together :'(
    BF XR6 Turbo - 2L Turbo TE - 75 TX Coupe

    - PSN: rotacoupe

This is obviously assuming all your AUX outputs are doing something. Ie idle control, and the other does water spray, and the other updates your Instagram automatically etc.

Might be able to use either p/steer steering link or vn-vs(splines differ?) link as they're said to longer then can use thicker chassis spacers.

Was hoping ford intercooler would fit with pipes at bottom.
an easy fix is get a mate to drive in front of you at 60 then 80 then 100 and mark in on your speedo with some liquid paper.

Wasn't this motor supposed to go in the Land Rover? Is said Land Rover still a thing?

I probably shouldn't like it, but I do. Turning up to a Holden meet in this would be a death wish.

Shit ey. I been wanting to do this but with a newer commodore for a little while no. Looks like I'm gonna be too slow and it will soon become a common thing as I seen a couple ba commo conversions popping up on FB recently.

Yeah fair call are obvious other bits to consider. I'd imagine there will be nearly as many of these things available as an LS and talking to dogsballs would be a great swap into nearly anything that it would fit in.

The barra, as it sits, owes me about $10k without ecu. The crate Ls3 was about $8k. A turbo 350/400 would be cheaper to build than c4, cheaper converter and doesn't need $900 conversion bellhousing

I like this kind of madness.

Now all we need is an OG XY GTHO with an LSx.
