Seems a bit overkill for a washer fluid bottle?

3 inch won't be too tight for a jigsaw in 12mm?

Nah should be ok with a wood or alloy blade, just rough it out undersize and finish it with a half round file or die grinder. If you go the holesaw route, just do it in a drill press and use a bit of WD40 so it doesn't chatter.

Holesaw is fine, use wd40 or kerosene, run it slow, clear the chips out manually

Then car car smells of fumes. Unless you spend 11ty billion dollars on teflon hose and fittings.

Another option is get a small 10 litre cell with inbuilt a1000 but thats a bit pricey as well

What does the standard tank look like? How is the stock pump mounted inside the tank?

why dont you leave it where it was originally and make a tailshaft loop to protect it in event of failure, probably a good idea to have one anyway...

Would need one anyway for the strip I would have thought.
Alternative, stick surge pump in spare wheel well, make sealed lid for top. How much clearance is there above/behind the diff in front of the fuel tank? Iirc it might be abit tight but if it fits I'd do that.

Efi tanks aren't much chop on these either...sorting this stuff now on my headfuck commodore tank

Just add new 1/2 or 3/8 pickup line deeper into tank with swirl pot welded underneath tank or boganised tank sump.

Neatest way efi hardware intank with new pump & save setup you have for landy or another project.

an easy fix is get a mate to drive in front of you at 60 then 80 then 100 and mark in on your speedo with some liquid paper.

Not in my case. Got ride of a putrid smell in the cabin, eliminated extra hoses, cut out extra wiring, cut extra fuses, and cleaned up the whole system.

Surge tanks are not the be all of fuel systems. But then again what the fuck would I know

It's further back than the radiator so hopefully the spilled coolant will help extinguish the fire

As stated, it's at the front of the tank

It was near the rear of the back tailshaft so nowhere near where a typical loop would be

Made up a fixture to hold the tb to the flange while I drill/tap the 4 holes. Also bought some deep drill bits

Radius of the alloy bend is too gradual to work so will need to run two silicon bends. Changed the hotside too as the gtx starts out at 2.5 inch
