Would a tight radius / donut be a better option ?

Can't seem to find tight radius 90's in 4" alloy. A donut would need ends welded on to it. Easier to just go double silicon

Got the trans cooler mounted where the surge tank was (cause everyone knows an oil fire is better than a fuel fire)

Ran out of fittings to plumb it all up :/

Might be a stupid question, but can you not just cut that bend you have down a bit? It looks to have 200mm or so of straight pipe before the bend starts.

Nah, obviously it needs to be cut to size but the radius is too gradual. It needs to hug that pipe below it or the bonnet won't shut

Trans cooler looks likely to get rocks thrown at it by the wheels?

Or I could just run the intake under it...

    Fuck I'm dumb....Vague Automotive

Drilled and tapped the intake plate

Fitted the rear brake line and started on the battery relocation

I think the under bonnet is done????? Waiting for the elbow to be welded and the engine loom to come back but otherwise, looking done

I ended up upgrading the fuel supply line to -8

Got this the other day, cool little tool from Speedflow that makes a ridge on the inside of a pipe to prevent the hose popping off

Looking good chuck. We picked up a g6et for the misso. Man I always had a thing for these motors but after driving this thing I'm not disappointed. Huge amounts of torque it just turns tires with ease and prepels the heavy girl around pretty rapid.

I noticed u put the fg inlet on. Have u heard anything about the fg turbo manifold? The one on hers is different but looks pretty well designed to me. I took the heat shield off to have a sticky beak.

Yeah FG exhaust manifold is better than BF. I had both but the BF one suited the land rover better so I gave the FG one to a mate

Elbow back from being welded, started on staged fuel pump wiring. Loom should be back next week

    Thanks guys

Trans cooler lines done. Mounted auto dipstick, which was a bit if a pain as it's a sump mounted system so need to keep the angle right or the level will be inaccurate

Staged fuel pump wiring mostly finished

Redid the trans cooler lines as I wasn't happy with them

Battery mounted and cable run, need battery terminals to finish it off

Ordered some 3.5 inch mandrels to do the dump pipe. Auto electrician is coming over Tuesday to go over the electrics and make sure I don't burn the car to the ground. Engine loom should be ready this week and need to get the ecu down to Dale for a baseline tune

All three fuel pumps are wired up, thermo fan remounted and wired up. Electrician arrived yesterday and told me what goes where so alternator and starter are now wired up.

What wheels planned for this? Stock 14's for street & 15" chasers for track?

Had a set of alloy space-savers to use as front runners untill wsid banned them(cunts)...still make for lightweight spare.

Watch out when closing bonnet after you fit gas struts...sometimes they bottom out underneath.
an easy fix is get a mate to drive in front of you at 60 then 80 then 100 and mark in on your speedo with some liquid paper.

I'm guessing 14's won't fit over upgraded brakes

Nah, it's not done yet. There's only two things on the cardboard, engine loom and exhaust. I'm going to call the guys that did Carnage exhaust and see if they can send me a press flared pipe to marry up with the back of the turbo
