    215kw.

Love these, they are a good thing. I know someone who had an immaculate low mileage one and it was very nice to drive - Martin is actually quoted in this article :

Yeah 215kw 411NM. It sort of feels like a normal 5L with a bit more torque at low-to mid RPM but where the normal 5Ls die at about 5000rpm this will happily rev to the limiter.

    Thanks Gents.

I'll start going through all the detail the previous owner so lovingly kept or re-created.

This car was originally delivered by Lockhart holden on the gold coast. He tracked down all the history and has a full folder on it. One of the little things he did was to get the Lockhart Holden sticker re-printed and also had the original number plate frames re-made.

I put an HSV owners club sticker on it and one of my detailing stickers and then 5s later took the other off as it ruined how original the car looked.

I have some special plates coming that I think will just finish the period style off. Undecided on using the frames or not but will definitely put them on for some photos at a minimum.

Shame its a Qld car as it would have been cool to have the original plate on it.

My plates arrived today. Couldn't believe they were available to be honest. With those period number plate frames I reckon it's jizz worthy.

    Superb. Fantastic!

I've always really rated these and would genuinely like to have one in my garage too.

I remember when they were near new Torque Ford used cars near me had one pride of place on the ramps on display at the front of the yard, and one night, the gearbox was stolen from under it.

    Nice score with the plates.
It's always worth trying. There was one combo I tried recently and was very surprised it was still available.

Red looks ok with the yellow plates, but the white frames are too much, black with that black panel.

Maybe 'cos price of plates are rip off even custom 3 letter 3 l number plates hurt unless really keen lol

Fucking hell they were keen to get the zf remember these being a cunt to work on underneath hence crushed exhaust.
an easy fix is get a mate to drive in front of you at 60 then 80 then 100 and mark in on your speedo with some liquid paper.

Perfect plates for what will no doubt be the perfect car, after you're done working your magic. Incredible that combo was still available.

Weird, says currently not registered. NSW historic doesn't commence till 30 years old.

Beautiful car you have, congratulations on the purchase!

I have a VK Group 3 that was sold new at Lockhart Holden, never even thought to chase down number plate frames and dealer stickers. Would you be able to point me in the right direction to getting some made?

    Looking forward to updates.
