Yeah they're awesome for interiors etc - just use hot hot water in it and go.

You can always pre-spray upholstery cleaner solution on and agitate with a soft brush or hand before using the Bissel to extract the extra liquid/dirt and so on.

I tend to use the Bissel Pet formula for cleaning - seems to break down stuff well...

I thought it was shit when I first got it but when I actually read the instructions and used the cleaner in it, it actually works bloody well.

So after you cunts calling me out about the paint condition I thought I'd start the correction process.

    WHAT A FUCKING DISASTER

This paint is the softest paint I have ever touched. So soft in fact that even wiping down after a pass can scratch the surface if i'm not using the utmost care. Then to top it off the paint is staying hazy as fuck (dreaded DA Haze or micro-marring). I've tried everything in my knowledge bank and product bank and still to no avail. Isn't it ironic that a guy who takes the utmost care of his paint and does this for the love ends up with a car with paint that at this point I can't actually fix.

an easy fix is get a mate to drive in front of you at 60 then 80 then 100 and mark in on your speedo with some liquid paper.

That's weird, I know Holden didn't have the best paint back then but that's bizzare.
    Possible reaction with previous products?

Holden didn't change their paint until the VS, and why didn't the SV5000 have the same issue?

Both cars have been painted the SV was hard as anything, the Group A complete opposite. It's all good I mean what's the worst outcome? Rage quit and re-paint again with a hard as fuck clear lol

Honestly if I can't solve it the likely option is just drive it and enjoy it. It still looks pretty good you're right. My OCD is going bananas though lol

This is obviously assuming all your AUX outputs are doing something. Ie idle control, and the other does water spray, and the other updates your Instagram automatically etc.

Got some advice from some king pins in the international detailing world. A lot of consensus is to cheat the process by refining down the polish to almost clear and then running a wax straight over the top on a pad on low speed. Letting it set a bit and then wiping it off. Have bought a few new things to try tonight and over the weekend so fingers crossed!

Got home from work after acquiring so new shit to try and a couple of days of research.

Laid my shit out and prayed to the group a gods....

Test piece on the top of the grill. Before

    After.....

Bonnet before, note haziness, and pretty prominent scratching

    After....

I won't count my chickens till I look in the sun light but all in all it's looking very promising.

    Fingers crossed.

Once it's polished out I guess you need some sort of protective layer on top so that any new scratches are only in that layer and not in the paint itself?
