    ba falcon...

i took the coon down to the machanics today as i hav an issue with the coon swaying. it will sway and then it will stop as nothing happened. Happens about 100km/h Back-end was checked and nothing out of the ordinary was noted. Bushes are okay..

Link rods for sway need to be changed and the D bushes are nolathane/whiteline and can not see any movement.

Can it be something else? like tyres? or a bit of play in the diff/cv's?

I did an 8 at Wakefield over the weekend on Street tyres at AUS Time Attack, and mine was swaying all over the place too.
They flex and wallow around like a big boat.

    Was it windy?
Have the tyre pressures been checked?
Sounds like sway bar links to me.

Did they check the spherical bushes in the rear end? They flog out and cause all sorts of rear steer issues.

It could be this I have had one so bad once that it wandered all over the road.

tyres rotated and pressures checked. I am now thinking that is front end related as it is more noticable on turning right and when the road camber changes.
