    Turbo Recommendation - Built 2JZ

    Boys,

    Here we go again

My built 2JZ should be ready to pick up next week and I am chasing opinions on what turbo to run for a street / powercruise flogger

    Motor combo is:

2JZ Block - Bored and Honed - 40 thou over
    Carrillo Brothers Racing Forged Pistons
    Carillo H Beam Rods
    ACL Race Bearings
Cometic Head Gasket (or OEM builder is deciding)
    HKS 272 Cams
    Brian Crower Springs & Retainers
    ATI Balancer

Currently we have 850cc injectors, Haltech Platinum 1000, Walbro 460LPH pump and a MV built A340 with a 4000RPM converter

I've got a Precision 6766 with a 1.15 rear sitting hear for it, but keen for other opinions / options

Will put it on E85 sometime next year and will chase the big HP eventually!!

    Over to you lot

    agreed.

although if you're really going to lean on it with E85 you'll need bigger injectors and likely a bigger fuel pump.

    Yeah

Will step up to a triple pump set up and ID2000's before we head down the E85 path

Would rather have more fuel and not use it than risk it running lean!!

6766 is way big enough to wreck the auto so stick with that until you go TH400 or Glide.
