Who has a lathe and can make purge plugs?

Is anyone able to turn up something like the below? With a taper of say 105mm down to 60mm.

Doing a heap of titanium lately and my shit purge setup is costing me a fortune in argon.
Need a few done, so happy to throw cash & beer for the effort.

I'm sure you will have a better offer. But once I'm up and running I have planned a few of these for myself. If you still looking in a few months I'll happily make you a set also

That would be sweet. I'm looking for at least 7, so that should hopefully make it worthwhile.

Appreciate it man, I'll definitely be throwing at least a good weekends beer money on top though.
    I'll draw something up shortly.

Was having to show someone how to do basic things with Fusion 360 today, and needed something to model. So 10mins later here is a 105-60mm purge plug: http://a360.co/2tqXSbl

All the sets I have used have had two fittings. One end with feed and the other end with purge. Same plug each end though, just different fittings into the 1/4BSP.

Not when you're doing bulk lobster bends. Leaks like a sieve.

Takai, that design is bang on what I'm after!

I would of thought scrunched up Alfoil in the end around the hose would be better and less chance of it falling out.

Maybe I'm a complete spastic (in fact that's pretty likely), but I've had no luck with it not tearing up or falling out.

Is good in a pinch. But for me, I find it really inconsistent with flow rates and very inconsistent with term to heat... Sometimes it acts like a heat sink and shit gets cold, othertimes it doesn't and you expect it to... It's just not consistent enough for every day use for me.

I'd be happy to help if all else fails I live in the Stix in WA so have to order in some ally.

Or wait till I come back through Perth on our holidays which is going to be mid August I want to grab some anyway as I'm wanting to do some centre caps for my EH.

It would cost a bomb postage though.
