    KE26 Windowless Van

So after deciding to sell my KE10's I ended up working out a deal with them for this thing, Pretty original kind of thing, been sitting under his house for about 10 years,

Has 3K motor, 4 spd manual,

Previous owner went to get some paint work done and unfortunately he got some clown who did a half arsed effort at painting it and has humidity bubbles over most the top and they've flaked off, said clown also buffed thorough the paint in various places around the car so it really needs a paint job but can (and probably will) be driven as is, Bonnet was replaced and can even see original orange paint where the prep was not done

Interior not perfect but still in quite good shape,

He had even at some stage bought these plates for it, Of which OKE020 (Scott) is already onto..

Had factory drum brakes on the front which have been removed to fit discs but not yet done so will need that sorted, apparently fuel pump has shat but easy fix, needs windscreen to be re-fitted but rubber is there so again, easy job, dash etc is out to save it from weather etc so will refit that, probably a few other small jobs to do to get it sorted..

    Will update once it's home,

    Sweet deal.

The original 70's orange is so much cooler imo.

When i was in NZ years ago, all the old 2 door corolla wagons had factory rear side windows, they didnt get any vans. Was that a cheap rego thing here or something back in the day?

Instantly cooler than the KE10 by virtue of being a wagon.

Needs some kind of hot NA motor with quads or stacks, maybe even a dirty PP rotor. Actually, even an RX8 renesis would be wicked in one of these for the ten minutes they seem to last.

Cheers fuckers, Will make it run and cruise for a bit, It will no doubt be lower at some point, thinking a tough little 3sgte or maybe just an angry 4age, who knows, would like to keep it "legal"

But yes, the VL really does need to be done, this is my fucking problem, cars keep appearing when it's nearly the VL's turn...

This is obviously assuming all your AUX outputs are doing something. Ie idle control, and the other does water spray, and the other updates your Instagram automatically etc.

Awesome buy, these windowless vans are crazy rare. 2litre turbo not legal under ncop with a 20 or 25 so prob not with the 26 either, it makes me sad as i have a 25 that desperately needs one.

These are wicked. Every window less panel van I have had or seen has been the same blue.

FYI, they are 810kgs meaning 2L turbo is doable.

Any conversion as you know the tunnel gets real tight real quick.

With all you other cars being spastic in power I would suggest a 7K turbo. Something different but reliable enough to have a heap of cheap fun with

Well that's handy to know, cheers, was hard to find weight info, as I said, it will just cruise with the 3K and 4 spd for a while, I don't need 7 cars with stupid power, (fuck me, that sounds reasonable, Must be crook)

The thought of bamboo has crossed my mind, OKE020 has one aswell that was originally bamboo that he is starting on now, he just put a N/A carby 12a into it from a mates race car, will be shop/daily although has 2 windows they will be deleted so I'm not keen on having 2 identical cars to his lol, turbo 7K is a reasonable idea, I'm sure something will turn up at the right time, I have no solid plans for it at this stage rather than to just get it together and cruise it as a survivor car

The KE26 wagon we used to thrash around went pretty decent with the 3K and 4 speed. I would just leave it stock for now and just tidy it up with some wheels.

Maybe a bit of slam. haha

That's pretty much exactly what will happen, slightly lowered (eventually) set of wheels, cruise it....

Depends on your style. White is more the inconspicuous, sneak up behind and rape you while you're not looking kinda deal. Shitty flat black, dark colours/ shitty paint is more like "I'm here to do some rapin, line up at the end of my dick and deal with it!"

No SR. FJ20 if it must be a nissan 2l four pot.

Altezza Beams 3S with a 6 speed would also be a cool swap.

20V 4AGE would be plenty of fun for this size wagon. Could turbo it later on.

Wait. Didnt I say leave the 3K in a few posts ago? Lol
