Hopefully the 500kg difference makes the btr last. Love the car btw.

The long first gear should get most benefit from the half tonne advantage

Had a good day out. Best on street tyres was 12.5@125, swapped to the 235 radials 12.2@122 with 2.1 60ft. Seems to tag limiter on 2-3 shift, bit runs pretty straight and easy

Only issues for the day was heater hose blowing off on a burnout and oil cap disappearing during a run. Used 3/4 of a tank of 98, there and back. Also weighs in at 1450kg. Thanks to MilkmanDan for help during the day

Zero spin. Just can't build boost without pushing thru line.

Only spin thru 60ft when we pumped radials up to 32 psi, lol

2.1sec 60. Your got heaps left in it. Loose a third of a second in the 60 alone.

    Well done!

But no chance of traction if it hits 10-15psi off convertor. Also convertor will make changes faster, so 3rd will be used more

Anyone know of a 2 step module that would work with the factory ford ecu

Would still need a converter though otherwise will only get what you can do with the brake pedal. I like the idea of diff gears, at moment it drives through 60” on the DRs, reckon if didn’t want to go converter a step up in ratio probably wouldn’t hurt. Get some more rpms in 3rd aswell

if it's hitting the limiter on changes, is the trans slipping? might be a good time to up your line pressure at full throttle? a mate was showing me a $395 converter which has a little extra stall and mainly reliability upgrades on ebay. 3.23/3.45 diff gears would help too.

I didn't realise for about 15 mins as it never broke the speed limit.

You won't need a 2 step for a few psi on the brake with stock turbo. Chuck that cheap eBay converter at it and some wrecker diff gears. That's all I'd be doing anyway because cheap fun is the best fun.

Just drive it and enjoy the reliability, you're already doing the megafast VL so leave this as is.
