Not sure on exhaust yet. 180 has a straight through 3inch, no cat, just a rear flog cannon with burnt titanium tip. I suspect that might make a bit too much fart noise for my liking. There is a hotdog that was deleted from that exhaust lying unused in the garage. So in answering your question- Maybe?

The fastest stock NA Silvia's I've dealt with all had stock exhausts (And sounded better lol), the fastest NA had 2.25" exhaust with big Jap mufflers. Anything else went slower :S

by all accounts GTIR throttles are nasty pieces, and will be a step backwards. Toyota ITB's would be better adapted. And GTIR stuff takes top feed injectors, so different fuel rail, injectors, etc.

I didn't see the aero covers for the wheels on fb... in love!

Yeah, probably wouldn't put your average off-the-shelf drainpipe on it.

    Well thats some interesting info.
Right now it has a stock exhaust, but I believe it may be a turbo exhaust given it has twin rear tips?

I'll take some newer better pics with the aero covers on soon.
I need to fiddle the front end a bit to sort the height and camber, also got some 30mm bolt on spacers so i can fit the R32 4 piston calipers and still be able to bolt the front wheels on.

Looks great mate, love the aero covers for the wheels too.

There probably more people you know here, but they have different names now. I assume you're from IDA?

Still got the ute, there's a thread full of borked Photobucket pictures on here.

Fuck yeah, love this! If I were to get another Silvia I'd go N/A as well, but RB25 with GT-R throttles.

Have you thought about getting Nismo aero front bar, side skirts and rear pods? I reckon that would finish it off nicely.

false indicator - my folks imported a totally stock S13 sr20de auto in the 90s and it had twin tips.

I'd love that combo too, I had a set of GTR throttles there for a while for exactly that sort of setup on a previous Silvia. Never went ahead with it, sold the manifold.

Yeah aero bar and kit and brick headlights would look fantastic. But they're all rare and expensive. We're concentrating more on getting it set up and running nicely, but if stuff popped up in the future then for sure we'd go for that.

Thanks! More exhaust research needed then I think.

Fitted up the 30mm bolt on front wheel spacers on Sunday. Not an ideal solution, but the only way these wheels will fit over the R32 calipers.
Today I had a fiddle with the ride height and camber, had to dial a fair bit of neg into the front to get the tyres back under the guards. None of the guards are lipped and they still have the plastic liners fitted. And that's how it's going to stay. So this is as low as it's going to go.

Car is dirty as fuck again.

Covers are weird, some angles they look 80's tops. Then sometimes they look like silly hubcaps.

Trumpets will be a little way off. Sorting all the cheaper bits first to make it a nice car, next big purchase will be cams, then throttles. Hoping to have it all done this year.

tbh I am a fan of the stock body/no kit. The cars look good enough, and there's just something honest about it. I've always been on the quest of full OEM aero, but this picture has always haunted me:

While I for one reckon the sheeple disco potato ++ solution is the standard go to solution... I thinks discussed motions a bang up idea, carry on.

Particularly keen to see how it goes on the handles front, have thought about it from time to time, v the street milo can/drift 'n'zip ties special. Big plus on on the standard kit too, one of those getting better with age bodies for sure.

Went to an N/A dyno day 10 years back. Every SR20 made similar power to that. The Sister in law's 1.3 Echo made 68kw at the wheels on the same day with VVTI not working due to clogged oil galleries in the head!

I too have something to confess

    In the family since 2002.
Started as a Non turbo s13.
    Now a S15 sr20det with 2863, ARC turnflow FMIC, z32, nistune, R33 brakes nismo 740s etc.
    ....and OEM aero kit.

Ah sweet, that looks very clean!

Been dismantling the 180 a bit at a time for an hour so after work every day. Removed all the brakes yesterday, removed the turbo setup and 256deg cams and put them up for sale. Waiting for the Silvia dickhead headaches....

Carrying on with the really important jobs. Stereo. It had nothing. No head unit. No speakers.

It's crazy what sort of gear you can buy for not much money nowadays. Chinese no-name double din head unit. Touchscreen, Bluetooth, Apps, Internet, DVD/CD player. Everything. $170!

Fucked around for 2 days with wiring and making mounting brackets. Electric aerial works. We got 4 very nice Alpine speakers which are wired up but not quite mounted yet. Stuck in a random DVD to test it out. Works sweet!

Also sold the GTX and 256 degree cams from the broken 180 this weekend. Throttle body setup will be ordered this week.

    Lol see ya turbo.

Haven't done much work this week due to man flu.

Did order the beautiful quad throttle setup from EFI Hardware and a set of Camtech 270 degree cams and springs though.
Now to wait patiently for the mail man.

    This is sweet!

Having had two turbo Silvia's in the past (enjoyed owning them both). I'm liking this clean, stock body build, N/A with a focus on revs and handling with the sole aim of having fun, is all sorts of win.

Yeah me too, believe me! Can't wait until its up and running properly, I think about it all the time every day. I've been craving ITBs for many many years.

I looked into Autech SR's. Too expensive for now, we're just using the engine that came with the car.
If that one blows then maybe it will be an option to look at in the future.
