I've been following your car for a while Kyle, watching the spin at the PI Nationals last year with fingers crossed you didn't collect any/everything had me concerned!.

You run the Chev instead of the LS, reliability over weight increase?

    Good luck with it,

cheers , yeah P.I spin was over before I knew it. was just another thing that was bad that weekend
holed radiator and oil cooler in qual, broken bolt in top link in r1, off track avoiding spun cars in final, twice
but did discover why it was such a pig in the rear. got springs tested when home springs had gone soft and lost 150- 200lb on right rear

initially I ran the 355 holden with the tko600. wanted more power put mates 23 deg sbc in from sports sedan
until it broke a rod at Bathurst 2013 probably as a result of a wrong slot or 2 lol
sbc was chosen again as phil believes they are a better combo for circuit .

What was the deal with that?, did the VE turn him or BMW squeeze him?

SBC and Fords Windsor Yates are the best motorsport engines, Costs can be high but much more robust.

    Yep, what Sam said.

Gotta be honest, if I had any mechanical ability whatsoever I'd build a VN to VS IPRA with an L98 and Holinger tomorrow. Unfortunately (or probably fortunately for my bank balance !) I'm a dumb cunt that struggles to hold a screwdriver without hurting myself so I try to stick to simple cars that mates can help me with...

Fucking love yours and Skilly's Commodores Kyle - they are awesome things, be sure to keep updating this thread mate !

cheers. should have won the 1st race but waldo was blocking pretty hard. was making sure I didn't hit him, he's taken 18 months to get over the last time we touched lol.

pretty lucky with the box, probably should have parked it up saturday

The commo has some corner speed!. Is it common for the Holinger to break teeth or is it another issue causing it.
