    W.A nationals
Thanks to IPRAWA for putting on a great event
    what a weekend
Thurs was a set up and check the car and do stickers
Friday had a walk around the track ,got a few tips from Ashley
First couple of sessions just working my way up to speed
Gee talk about no grip, stugging to do a 67 s and just tearing up tyres
Softened the rear , drop roll centre got it better but still not happy. Did Q1 like that 19th at 65.7sec
Q2 bolted new tyres on 11th at 64.4 sec
    Heat 1 finished 6th after 8 laps
Heat 2 Major in the WRX stalled on the front row which scattered the cars , brought in home in 5th
Heat 3 New fronts helped it get over the hill better for 4th place
Final New rears , got away alright. Safety car came out about lap 5 to pull the VL out of the bowl , but caused another when subaru tried to redress passing under yellow causing Wade to move right into Forest. Both cars out.
Had a battle with Bruanue in the E30 after S.C until end. 6th over line which became 5th after the VN was excluded
Great to get a good result after huge effort to get there.

Still have 2 rounds to go for year with Lakeside on the 18 th November

Well done Kyle, moving forward every race, you must be happy with that. I was following on natsoft live timing and could see the lap times improving.

lakeside last weekend, fri was nice. and dry. hadn't raced there for about 3 yrs so little rusty
sat was dry right until we were lined up to go out, then decided to hose down, wobbled around in the wet to for 3 laps until it was red flagged due to the mini getting buried in the tyres , didn't go back out 15 th meh wasn't worth binning it .
race 1 was wet finished 11th
race 2 still wet/damp got boxed in at start then race control red flagged it as we came around back. apparently I was only one to obey the red flag and got passed by about 6 or 7 cars. we are told to return to pits as timing was out.
anyway grid didn't get reset so started out of 19th, moved forward to get to 6th
race 3 ,at start escort in front of me decides to cut the kink , showered me with mud and nice hole in windscreen.. my green car is now white/brown. still trying to get the shit out of the engine bay. 8th
race 4 still wet. had a nice battle with clift in the vy commodore, stayed in front to grab 7th

we are on again next weekend at morgan park

qualy. had major drama as I've gone to leave pit lane . could get car to move ,like it was locked up .in gear but grinding then would stall. all but given up, slipping the clutch it would move but couldn't load it up. went down pit return road to park it got a bit of speed up , yep all good. drive back to pit lane go out it al good apparently. 1 st lap was a 1.23.0 didn't think that was good enough, next was 1.22.6 parked it.

race 1 should have started from pole but started from pit lane, clutch not happy. safer option than causing a start line crash I thought
    finished 7th

    See you at the Bend?
To all IPRA and Saloon Cars

IPRASA is proud to announce that the 2018 National Round for both Improved Production and Saloon Cars will be held on the 5km National level circuit at The Bend Motorsport Park, Tailem Bend, SA, on the 9th – 11th of November 2018. The proposed event schedule will consist of an optional Practice Day Friday, and competition Saturday and Sunday.

As “The Bend” is such a new track, we’re still in the progress of finalising pricing, but we would like to open up non-financial Expressions of Interest for the 2018 Nationals. We anticipate that entry will be in the vicinity of $900-$1200.

Please help us provide a better event for you by lodging your Expressions of Interest and sending an email to nationals@iprasa.org.au with your Name, Category (IP or Saloon) and if you would be likely to attend the Friday Practice. Yes, that’s all we need right now.

In January 2018, once we have an indication of numbers and a more detailed price structure, we will announce pricing for the event and call for deposits to secure your spot.

For interstate competitors looking to maximise their travel, please note that the South Australian State Championship has Round 4 on the 20th and 21st of October at Tailem Bend, and Round 5 on the 17th of November at Mallala. Information can be tracked via the IPRASA or Sporting Car Club of SA Websites and Facebook pages.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you and seeing you all next year!
