    So the black one was obviously a good thing as it sold before I got out to look at it yesterday.

    Going to scour the auctions and keep an eye out for one with some minor damage in key areas as a new potential plan has been hatched....

    I do remember reading about warning in a buying guide re the non turbos and bore liners.
    However, as per a lot of these things, needs to be taken with a grain of salt as often "experts" simply make shit up.
    It would be more talked about if were actually "a thing".

    Get a Turbo though

    I've a got a facelift 09 diesel cayenne on 18's and steel springs, when current tyres wear out I'm going all terrains. I'd love to make it like a transsyberian rally version. It's already got the same roof rack if I want lights up high, just don't want to drill into the roof for wiring. It's been a good unit.
