    Lifting a STI

I'm in a landlocked Asian country with particularly poor roads. I also have just purchased a 2004 STI.

I need to get it up something like 1.5-2" from stock and to be able to use it on a daily basis.

Anyone done this before or have any ideas? I'm hoping some standard Forester struts and standard impreza springs will do it (it's difficult to get exotic shit here)...

Definately look into Forester struts. I recall Junior's mate had a Forester a couple of years ago, and he put REX (might have been STI) struts in that to lower it.

I've no first hand experience, but as above, Forrester owners of vehicles of same vintage do the opposite regularly to lower their cars.

So theoretically, the reverse should work for yours.

And some fozzy steelies with off-road tyres for extra cred and clearance.
Lots of minis & mokes including a G13b powered Sports Sedan, a couple of Swift Gtis, a Goggomobil, 928S, Polo Gti, BMW 540i, a WRX and a Navara with the deadly ZD30
