Yeah don't get that because it'll make my GT4 Cayman look less cool, and I never want to spend more money than I just did

Yeah, I reckon a Testarossa, with the left over for a 4C or Giulia QuattroFormaggio would go nicely.

The problem I see with the Porsche GT* series is there seems to be a newer, faster, better handling one come out every 12 months. If you keep rolling them over to the latest and greatest it's no problem I guess, but if it's a buy and hold purchase I'd rather something like a Ferrari or Lamborghini.

Personally I'd be going for something NA, manual, and limited edition. The superlegopener is the only thing that really fits the bill.

    Can Testarossas be registered?
They couldn't in NSW when they were new (even though grey import registration was easier back then I think??), but the rules would be different now?
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

Put down the crack pipe old man. I suspect that's an apocryphal story. Have seen TRs on the road in period back in SA, and TRs on the road up here. Rego is a thing.

Google won't tell me why they couldn't Back In The Day, but they couldn't.
There appear to be a few NSW registered cars now though.

The story I heard was they couldn't be registered because they were too wide. The mirrors make them just under 2 metres wide or about the same as a Sydney bus.
If you dig a hole and it is in the wrong place, digging it deeper isn't going to help.

Surely at that price its whatever was on your bedroom wall as a kid (or the updated version), the difference in fasts is going to be more to do with the driver than the car, so its all about personal preference.
For me it would buy a fully built supra, z06, mx5 and a radical.

The mirrors, tip to tip, are the same width as the rear arches. 1,976mm.
Max vehicle width in Australia is 2.5m.
