    fuck that was good.

    Pity we didn't see most of Dans passes.

    Max has age on his side. Mercedes are keen to get him in 2019. So even though I reckon Dan is a better racing driver, I think Max's stocks are higher.

    True. But Lewis is 32. So maybe 4 years left in him (????). Who better to have next to him than a young racer showing massive potential? Maybe that's their thinking?

    either of them have plenty of years ahead of them. i would be looking at the driver who can deliver now. one in the hand vs two in the bush etc. verstappen could develop into a great driver, or he could flame out. he is potential, and potential isnt always guaranteed to bear out.

    ricciardo is a proven contender

    Dan loves that switchback pass into Roggio......I remember when he pinged Seb there in 2014;

    Yep copy and paste, it's still fucking impressive though. Even the big dive under brakes against Kimi is very reminiscent of earlier moves. You think or he's building up and will use DRS the next lap to pass nope just dives in under brakes from nowhere and makes it stick.

    Stroll and Ocon did well to race super clean.
    If in doubt power out

    err Dan is under contract next year. He's free in 2019 and Kimi is only on a one year extension. So maybe.

    If it was to happen, I honestly reckon Fezza would preference Dan over Vettel, after all, one is Kraut and the other is of Italian heritage (both parents are Italian). Close enough for the Tifosi!
