Transbrake would be the go, you're right the reason people avoid them is to protect the driveline, as soon as you mention transbrake driveline places freak out a bit. With a decent box in my experience they usually remove engine braking in first gear only. It's a good thing especially while getting used to reverse pattern.

This car has well and truley enough power to not need any brake for the burnout, just give it some berries... lol

Does it have a problem building boost on the line or it's just slow at it?.

I'd say being a 2.5 with a giant turbo building boost on the footbrake with a new owner would be the issue, and not really a big one at that.

Neither. Just yank on the handbrake, and stomp both pedals and wait a couple of seconds

The line lock and hydraulic handbrake, while not a necessity, will make it all a bit easier. I don't think I'd be comfortable doing transbrake launches on Drag Week

Bet you can't wait to get out again and stand on those two peddles bit longer hehe.

It does suck living so far from the track doesn't it .

Was actually good practice for drag week, was up at 4am finishing off the truck, 4 hour drive, race, 4 hour drive home.

There's a test and tune on the 28th if like to get to but we'll see

What was the seat and harness worth? Looks like a sprint V which I need a spare.

This is obviously assuming all your AUX outputs are doing something. Ie idle control, and the other does water spray, and the other updates your Instagram automatically etc.

I got a deal on the seat, I think they sell for $375. The harness was $300 through Revolution Racegear

With the car good to go, can't you just book and get your licence?

Seat and harness in. Might drop it down 1/2 inch and need some nuts to finish crotch mount (?)

That side impact bar is all kinds of weird, most side bars ive ever seen connect to the A pillar.

Makes it easier to drive on the street I guess?
