Best light bars and spot lights.

What is the best in your opinion?

I know the light force genesis 215 led's are probably the best but they are quite expensive and they only use 3w Cree LED's I saw ultra vision is using 10w Crees now and they know how to make lights. I was looking at a Stedi 31" ST2K are they any good or is the advertising bullshit? I know the ultra vision 26 led tornado is probably the best light bar but $1200 compared to the Stedi @ $330. I know the old sayings about cheap stuff but is it the case with LED's or am I going to get ripped off by the expensive companies?

My mate showed me a pic of two stedi spot lights vs the cheaper kings/illuminaters and they were way better. It seems like stedi might be the go to brand.

Hot tip they are all the same. There are like maybe 3 or 4 tops cunts in Chingland who manufacture the drivers the things need to operate, don't get sucked into the marketing bullshit.

I know there are the Ching brands that are all replicas but not all are and it is confusing as fuck trying to find the cheap quality. And then there is performance which can viary as I have seen 3w cree's outdo 10w cree's. Then there's LED chip binning which means some brands use better bined LED's.

It seems this LED light game is a complex business.

I have a Stedi on my Prado. It is a 24" two row light bar. No fucking idea what model but it is awesome. I would buy another in a heartbeat. It is almost embarrassing how bright it is when I turn it on.

ive got a kings 28? inch I cant really remember.

do I like it? yeah I guess I do its better than having no light bar I suppose.

would I buy it again? nope, id rather spend double what I paid and get something half decent. sure it works pretty well but it just doesn't compare to some of the other better brands out there.
when I installed it at a mates work shop I compared it to a tiny great white one that was on his apprentices brumby. middle of the day and I could look directly at mine, the great white pretty much blinded me.

Simon Fondoodle has posted nothing useful in this thread I was under the impression that was frowned upon in a technical thread.

Right, so any thread not started by you is open slather for you to run your filthy mouth but when you start a thread it cannot be reciprocated ?

I just checked the Hellas out they seem very similar to me he IPF ones I was looking at. This is where I was looking thinking the stedi ST2K might be a good thing as it uses rear facing LED's like the Hella and IPF.

It was kinda funny the retard slagging off speedflow and proclaiming his monkeys will only use swage fittings.

    Ignite. I hate lightbars.

Mate put one in my patrol and said if I don't like it, to smash it with a hammer like I did the micks HID neverfits. Worth it for the laugh alone.

Thing is astonishing, and not a huge amount of foreground exposure which is why I think (and still think) light bars are for fucking retarded mullet stroking peanuts. They're borderline dangerous as you can not focus more than 0.3 seconds ahead at 100kph, but this thing doesn't make me hate it. Get what you pay for.
