So, finally reached the limits of the driveshafts installed in the converted rally car.

Seems the Celica shafts, although longer than the original shafts are a few mm shorter than needed.

We pulled 2 drive shafts passed their limits in the SA round of the ARC.
Quick fix was to put droop limiting spacers on the control arms. Not good but a fix that got us to the end.

Have sent my current shaft centres to an engineer to get new shafts made 30mm longer. 6 week wait.

In the mean time, with original shafts looking at a possible budget fix, and wondering if any extra load would be placed in the wrong areas.

Looking to put a machined spacer of 12mm on the hub side splined shaft so it allows the centre shaft to stay in the centre cup. would this cause problems
