    Tin foil hat time

Vettel hitting Hamilton in that video could have been deliberate. They were on the gas and vettel had plenty of warning to get off the gas a bit, but had already damaged his front wing from the strappon contact so why not have a go at the championship leaders rear tyre to keep him in check for the impending front wing change.

Hamilton should be penalised for that chop on Vettel.

& Crazy Max should also be penalised for not giving racing room.

    2018 - What a year it's gonna be.

2018 I going to be one of those, once in a life time seasons I reckon.

It's seriously going to be the best season ever. Vettel can't let Hamilton gain more WDC's than he has. RBR trying to manage Dan & Max. Dan & Max fighting Lewis & Seb. Renault & Honda will EVERYTHING on the table next season as a)a works team with something to prove and b) a engine supplier fighting to save face and wanting to blow McLaren off the track. Then we also have McLaren & Alonso........

    It's gonna be a cracker.

Why will 2018 be so much better?

Oil burn is gone and what...Seb will decide that the key to WDC is not letting Lewis win the WDC and Honda will suddenly figure out how to screw an engine together?

You know if the Maclaren chassis is as good as Alonso goes on about and there is complete engine parity amongst the Renault teams (which both Renault and Rebbull says there is) then watch out for the Maclaren making a comeback next year.

Honestly think Torro Rosso will be down past Williams force India (or whatever they're called next year).

As long as Vettel tells Charlie to fuck off again, I'll be happy.

    Nah I'm aware

"Once in a lifetime season" seems a big call. It's going to be Merc/Ferrari again. McLaren will move to the midfield/'best of the rest' once the iron out Renault-McLaren teething issues. I don't think it's going to be a 5-way title fight like 2010.

I think it would need Max replacing Kimi and Dan replacing Bottas to make it a real once in a lifetime season. While there is a best car driven by one of the best drivers with a solid but not spectacular teammate we'll get some great races, some ups and downs but unlikely to be a season for the ages.

Or give the red bull a customer merc engine. Fucking fireworks.

Ferrari will equal Mercedes performance next year. They got pretty close this season.

No reason why Renault & Honda can't improve, Renault aren't that far off it anymore, and as stated - if the McLaren chassis is on rails, then you have them potentially equally Red Bull.

So... It's possible you'll have 4 teams with the potential of winning races, if Renault especially finds something - you might have 4 teams with the potential of winning the Title.

I actually think Ferrari will be hurt by oil burn ban. From all the bits and pieces I've read they made big gains with it.

Well, with James Allison no longer there, I'm not sure Ferrari will have the development momentum to improve their aero innovations. Plus with Allison at Mercedes now to explain the sidepod flow, it was a pretty bad move by Ferrari to stuff him about.

I'm not expecting great things by McLaren in 2018, yeah they might get 5th in the championship, but they'll be in a close battle between Renault and Force India, no way their chassis is close to, let alone better than Red Bull, Mercedes or Ferrari.

which they certainly could have done, possibly even while watching where they were going, maybe even clapping and cheering on their champion.

then told people about it later.

if i was a celebrity people coming up and shoving their phone cameras in my face instead of interacting like a person would fuck me right off.

Lewis has his own phone shoved in his face most of the time so I doubt he would notice.

I used to think Lewis was a massive wanker, particularly when back with McLaren. It feels like he has properly matured over the past few years and whilst he still has some weird tendencies in his personal life (which ultimately add to the lewis appeal and probably brings additional fans to F1) for whats its worth I reckon he's a deserving champion.

In driving wheel to wheel I think Dan would win, playing politics and being second man there, I'm not so sure, and I think that would be the difference.
