It's funny how the government wants to be inclusive but that inclusive is a select exclusive list of people and car loving people aren't in that list apparently.

You've missed the bit where every facebook group is starting their own cruise now.

This is obviously assuming all your AUX outputs are doing something. Ie idle control, and the other does water spray, and the other updates your Instagram automatically etc.

Now we will see some dickhead do something stupid and create the “and that’s why we intended to close it off” story.

My guess burnout goes wrong and smacks up some parked cars and people.

The rod it turns out belongs to a guy that used to run my local tyre shop 10 years ago. Top bloke always used to fit tyres for me for free. He's been building it for 15 years and only got it on the road mid last year.

Scrute was supposed to start at 5, was closer to 6 before they started looking at cars. I was straight in and check of the car was done in 5min. Another 5 min to fill out the same details I already gave them in my entry. One guy gave me the scrute form he was supposed to keep, another guy took my ticket off me that I needed to get my wristband. 10min waiting behind 3 guys who couldn't decide whether they needed to buy another pass and then hadn't printed and brought their disclaimers. I bet the people (I assume volunteers?) working there will quickly get the shits with hopeless entrants!

    Hopefully that works

Nopics and I went through later scruitneering last night. Pretty quick surprising.
Seemed a bit overly picky on things though. Amys car got pulled back on the rear board in the boot being loose. Old mate was good about it.
They thoroughly checked over them. Even went over underneath mine?

The Rod belongs to John Thompson, runs Tommos Tires not in Hume.

He bought the body and chassis from an overseas supplier from what I understand, had the completed chassis with the blown BBC on display at motorex about 14 years ago.

A mate of mine (bloke with the pink 32 3W Coupe for those who are local) done a fair bit of fibreglass bodywork to the body as it was pretty rough so I got a chance to check it out.

I'm not going to make it again this year, just spent a week on the Gold Coast so time working on the Chev was cut down.

    No worries!
They got an overflow bottle for the radiator which was loose (intercooler pipe blew off and broke the mount) I forgot to fix and there's a board that sits behind the fuel tank (Gemini's have them behind hte back seat and some board on the other side).
So I guess from that perspective that's a safety thing. We didn't argue. She said they did whine about her engine bay being too busy. She said it doesn't need to look good to run 10s. Lol
10mins and all the shit was fixed. Just a bit of a pain going back in again tonight.

With mine I'm not sure. Old mate was concerned a paint job and wheels wasn't enough until I opened the bonnet.
So who knows. Maybe they were just trying to enforce modified cars need to modified cars?
