    Laptop recommendations

Need some help, brosephs. I need a laptop just to work in with my haltech sport so it can be remotely thingymajigged by Dale. Can someone recommend a cheap, small laptop that will work? As in a link or name/model as telling me, "make sure it's at least 237kb per hour and has a 47nm of band width regooglable matrix block" isn't going to help me much

Realise I'm a pain but that's where we are at

    Thanks bigly!

    Thanks guys

Do I need something as big as those (physical size wise)? Smaller the better for taking on the plane, carrying in the car etc

AUD conversion sours it a little:

    Order total: AUD 718.65

    With SSD:
    Order total: AUD 843.18

For example, I use an Acer aspire netbook (12" screen, quad core etc.) in our track car, for both tuning & data logging.

They can be had for ~$300 - 400 new, much less 2nd hand.

Depends on your budget, I guess.

Would an 11" Dell be ok for tuning? I was considering one rather than taking my xps13 to the track. They regularly come up at this price on ebay.

for a tuning notebook I like something with a bit bigger than an 11" screen, also nice to have something with good daylight visibility. I've been using an old surface pro 3 for a while now but was thinking of something like an XPS15 next

Just get something with really good battery life for tuning. I've been using my work macbook pro, fucken battery lasts forever when you have nothing else open except the Windows VM and EFI Live or HP Tuners. Probably last even longer if I went the Bootcamp route. If the software has a native mac version, then it's even better. I can be out on the road doing Megasquirt cars for many many hours on end because of the Mac version of Tunerstudio.
