    Vs Barra turbo ute (Vic)

    For sale
    Vs 1997 series 2 Barra turbo ute
    -ute in fair condition, no rust, dent passenger rear guard, new Walbro 460lph fuel pump
    -all new king springs and monroe shocks, plated rear lower control arm, custom front sway bar
    -still retains column shift, dickie seat and looks stock on the inside, even original radio
    -ba turbo Barra 173k, with valvesprings, new timing chain and gaskets, modified water outlet for rad cap, Rajab inlet manifold
    -factory Barra turbo upgraded to billet 61mm front wheel, flapper mod, turbosmart internal gate with, 15psi spring, turbosmart manual t piece
    -currently on 98 fuel and 18psi, made 270 rwkw, run 12.2@122mph *slipping gearbox
    -500x300x100 intercooler, 2.5 hot side piping, 3" cold side piping, factory bov, 4" intake pipe and pod filter, plazmaman modified airbox
    -new custom alloy rad, Mondeo twin fans, doesn't g. et hot
    -4 dump pipe, 3" exhaust, 3 muffler, 3 rear resonator
    -3.08 wavetrac LSD
    -new 205 front tyres, 245 rears
    -factory btr 4 speed with s5 solenoid mod and factory convertor (* any racing this gearbox, will not last)
    -ice cold aircon
    -great car to jump in and cruise, total sleeper
    -NO engineers, but due to commercial vehicle, easier to be done

    $17.5k pf price

    **NOTE** recommend built btr gearbox if you plan to thrash or race car

    What ever year the vn/vp was built in.

    Not sure if this would have it been aus build, but current imports have a build date and compliance date. May or may not make a difference.

    But would this be allowed given the modifications done to it. To import here they need to be stock or had the mods done a long time ago.

    vg(vn) ute started 1990 although sedams were earlier...vp ute 1992-93

    Vp utes are ugly as fuck,probably why I like mine.
    an easy fix is get a mate to drive in front of you at 60 then 80 then 100 and mark in on your speedo with some liquid paper.
