Pulled the tank out today to fit a walbro 480

And, of course, got wound up, freaked out and snapped the top of the fuel unit

Desperately need to work on my meds....

I may have been a few vodkas in when I bought this...

Bit more on the conversion. Radiator is an alloy china jobbie to suit a v8 Hr. Thermo fan is off a suzuki swift

Started converting it over to -6 fuel line. Will do a bulkhead fitting to get around the broken fuel unit. Weather is supposed to be milder over the coming days

I stumbled across an Aussie mob that has LS conversion "kits" for Pajeros, Tritons, Challengers and Delicas while looking for lower gears for the Challenger.
I know there are a few Pajeros and Delicas with UZ conversions.

I'll get a custom one made

This got towed to a mate of a mates workshop to be tuned. Changed plugs, reset tps and had to bypass the jeep loom for the obd2 to work (these things have some kind of crappy canbus deal going on)

Got on the dyno and went 212kw then 242kw and then the shitty little suzuki thermo realised it was in over it's head. Currently getting upgraded to the spal that was on he ute. I have no idea why this wasn't done in the first place :shrugs:

Apparently the dyno place's fan isn't adjustable for height so 4wd's miss out
Must have tall ass gears in it cause the (4wd) tyres are up at 270kmh on a power run

Dyno guy after a test drive, "this thing is sketchy as fuck, how much you want for it?"

Hopefully back on the dyno on Monday

Anything over 200kmh in this would have to be exciting in an involuntary crapping your pants sort of way.

Especially if you had to stop or turn in a hurry

Stopping would be better than steering. Hard to steer with a wheel off the deck!

306hp and 430nm is all it made. Apparently, 3500 stall, 3.07 gears and 31 inch tyres aren't a perfect combo

By the time I strip out the front diff and fit my Prostars, it should be down in the low 1400's. Lighter than the vs sedan and with more power, 3500 stall and low gears, it should run 11's

Checkout the moonshot gearing on the dyno, 260kmh and still not at the limiter

Seems the crank needs to be 3 inches closer to the ground otherwise I'm limited to 13.5 second passes.

    Ordered some 4.1 gears today

What? You saying there's a limit based on vehicle height?

Wonder how that would work for a Trackhawk?
