    Phillip island classic 9-10-11 march - anyone going?

    as per the title, i went last year ofr one day and it was amazing. up for camping this year.

    anyone else heading down?

    Not this year unfortunately. It's a great event and a great day (even if sometimes you see beasts of cars idling around the middle of the track).

    Could be taking the family down. Its been over 10 years since Ive been to the classic but a few of my mates are racing in Nc so I might break the drought and see if its as good as I remember.

    Im down for sunday - Mercedes Benz Car Club has a SL register run and guided tour on Sunday of the visitor centre not knowing the Classic was on so not actually going to the track as such and working Saturday

    If you are hooking up on Saturday night those that are staying there let me know keen to see other PF members

    T10 (I think it's t10, just before the sweeper that leads onto the straight, great spot for short ques and flamage) Sunday for me. Probably in the verty 30 as the weather is supposed to be nice, but maybe in the crappy old clubby if it as hot as they say it may be.

    Those LC/LJ Torana's are all GTR or GTR/XU1's. Most I have ever seen in one place. I used to have a red GTR many years ago, it was mint. Built motor, dead straight panels. I think I got $6k for it.
