Wouldn’t mind bolting some street radials onto the Courier and throwing some gas at it for a laugh. I’m not away at work that weekend either... hmmmmm

Already have an email back from SM this morning confirming I'll be sent entry details once available. So that's a hopefully yes from me.

Edit - Scotty, make it happen

What's the field numbers and cut off numbers likely to be?

I only seem to get shit done if I paint myself into a corner and this seems like a good excuse to not sleep for a few weeks and piss some money away.

Aiming for about 150 but wont be upset if we get 200.

After 250 we'll have to start looking at closing entries off.

Hmmm, that might incur the wrath of the "no support vehicles" rule

for anyone interested in cage requirements, IHRA regs state the following

Vehicles that do not require a roll cage:
    a) Road registered open cars with an ET slower than 12.99 seconds, 1/4 mile
    b) Open competition cars with an ET slower than 10.50 seconds, 1/4 mile
    c) Unmodified cars with an ET slower than 10.50 seconds, 1/4 mile
    d) Modern Street cars with an ET slower than 10.00 seconds, 1/4 mile

Modern = airbag & 4-wheel disc brakes fitted from factory.

10.5 is certainly the sweet spot for an older street car at an IHRA sanctioned track. I probably wont change my rear end ratio because of this.

Think it's 2008 or newer with airbags
an easy fix is get a mate to drive in front of you at 60 then 80 then 100 and mark in on your speedo with some liquid paper.
