    Aurum plating Narangba reviews

I need to get a 2 stroke KTM cylinder re-plated and Aurum is the cheapest and closest option for me. I have found a few bad reviews on various forums but nothing recent. Has anyone here had any recent work done by them?

I have used them, for a ktm barrel. Job was a little rough and had a chip near a transfer port. Still going fine though

I've had 2 & 4 stroke cylinders done by them since the early '90's.

Their earlier stuff was often applied too thickly, didn't bond well & was inclined to chip.

At the time many businesses, mine included, told them that they would not get repeat business if they didn't correct these issues, irrespective of price.

They have improved steadily since then, imo, & I've had heaps of cylinders from them without issues.

You may have to do some minor port finishing, but apart from that I think they are fine.

Certainly price wise, they shit on anyone else, to the point where their competitors are hardly cheaper than a new barrel in some cases.
