2002 Magna Sports Sedan Manual $450.00

    Listing for a Mate..
Must be collected by this weekend as he has no room to store it any longer..

    2002 Magna Sports 3.5L V6 Sedan Manual
    234,000km
    Unregistered - Needs Blue Slip
    Runs really well
Paint Fade on Roof and Bootlid
    Has a new Battery
Air Con all serviced and Regassed
    Aftermarket JVC Head Unit

Few other bumps and scratches as shown in pics

He bought it with plans to fix it and register it and keep it as a daily, but ran out of time and lost interest.

For Blue slip he was told it needed.. (some of which has been done)
    2 Tyres
    Rear Shocks (Done)
Repair tear in Drivers seat (or seat covers)
Steering Rack Boots (supplied, not fitted yet)
    New Gear Boot surround (Done)

wants $450 for a quick no hassle sale

I asked if I could list it here first and give PF first dibs before he puts it on Scumtree / Ebay / FB groups etc....

an easy fix is get a mate to drive in front of you at 60 then 80 then 100 and mark in on your speedo with some liquid paper.

Had hoped it was sold, got too many cars & no room.

    Would be a good 13's for 1300 car/shitbox daily.

The thing that makes them special is the rear swaybar, other wise they were the same as any other Magna. But you're right, manual 3.5 fairly flew, mum had an Executive 3.5 manual a few years ago. Average 15" tyres made it, interesting.

Yeah, They are pretty quick for what they are..
I drove it back from where he bought it from and was genuinely impressed how it went.
(I had a 2000 model 3.5L Verada Auto, and that was a bit of a slug, so was plenty surprised when I turned onto the freeway ramp and nailed it......

    Manual per chance?
Turns out, far too much has been written about great men and not nearly enough about morons

Looking at the Dollar value - it's a $500 fun day out.
Although I must admit - a little part of me feels sad / annoyed as I know how good it was and how little it needed for rego to be great daily..

That said, if the Motor and Box are not fucked - he will get his $350 back in parts

I was going to buy it (he offered it to me for $200 which is all that it owed him) and I was going to take it to a mates farm near cowra and leave it there with the other beaters ( Cressida, Civic, Jackaroo) he has there for the boys weekend shenanigans to scream around in when we go up there - so whilst it would have led an equally hard life, it probably would have lasted much longer as the trees are not as close as they are at Hampden Sadly my mate who owns the farm said he didn't want any more up there...

I showed my mate the pic and he said "Does he want any more ??" LOL
