Awesome to see such hard racing, especially when it was clear the Porka's had extra speed.

Yeah mega effort and put in some good stints.

b0p was pretty good, the Astons were still a couple of seconds off the pace tho which was a shame.

So I guess we can start the '2019 Nando 500' thread now??

Yep I think that's a given, though I think it might be a bit harder to walk into an (almost) guaranteed win at the Indy 500

There is a good chance of it, I think McLaren F1 has a lot of internal issues at the moment that arent going to be fixed in a hurry. Word that employees are anonymously contacting Mansoir with lists of problems and petitions to get Whitmarsh back into the team.

Is it Zac or Eric (or both) that is the problem?

Wonder what Montoya was thinking? He arguably has a better shot at winning the triple crown than Fred.

Wasnít the Aston issue and aero one over power? I remember something about it hit an aero wall after around 220kph and they couldnít figure it out. This happened when they used there aero joker or something to that effect.

Iíll try find it, was in the F1 section of reddit. The gist was Boullier has no answers and Zac other interests besides F1. Says a lot about Whitmarsh and what the team thought of him seeing didnít win any titles and Ron pushed him out

At end of the day itís all about leadership and using people in the right way so fingers have to be pointed in that direction

Matt Campbell is going to have a great future ahead of him, he's getting faster and faster as he matures more and more. A gun of a driver and a good kid.

Indeed. Porsche have a lot of faith in him and itís not misplaced at all. Heís a Porsche Junior at the moment or something similar. I can see him getting a full factory pilot status in coming years. The main problem with him getting a GTE Pro seat is that Porsche have plenty of drivers to fill those seats atm. Weíll see what happens.

LMP2 winners G Drive excluded for fuel rig tech violation. http://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/l...reca-excluded/.

Fourth place car run out of the same team excluded for same reason.

Great reaction from one of their rivals David Heinemeier Hanson
