    Parts Trainee - Nowra

    I can't believe getting someone for a trainee position in an area that has the highest youth unemployment in Australia would be so difficult...

    If anyone on here knows someone possibly keen get them to walk in to our branch in Central Ave South Nowra or call Craig the branch manager as below.


    Dwyers truck and trailer centre in nowra is entering a new and exciting growth phase and we are looking for an enthusiastic trainee Parts Interpreter to join our growing multi-franchise dealership and grow not just a job but a career in medium and heavy vehicle parts .

    This position offers a range of duties such as dispatch and receivables of parts orders, parts identification for repairs and service work and parts sales to customers both face to face and via the telephone,

    Skills & experience:
    A open manual drivers licence
    A good mechanical aptitude and interest in vehicles
    Excellent literacy, numerical and verbal skills

    7am - 5 pm 5 days a week + 5 hrs on sat
    $10 per hour... no penalty rates


    Parts is a shit industry... hence its hard to get good people

    Its crazy, i get hundreds of kids apply to be a diesel mechanic apprentice but none apply for a parts role.

    If they are any good in a few years they could be parts manager on $80-100k a year with 10% net commission on top, company car, fuel card, phone, laptop etc.

    Not a bad gig for a young person fresh out of school in Nowra, if they are willing to have a go..

    And if it is a single franchise it is a cruisy job, I worked at a dealer with seven franchises and quickly decided my sanity was more valuable than the job.
