My musings come about due to a lack of knowledge, yes; but surely an MA4x is just an RA4x with, maybe a different crossmember & different engine/gearbox mounts? I thought the panelwork was actually the same, unlike the MK2's which have a longer engine-bay &/or wheelbase?
